You can travel around this map by foot, horse or train but by no means does that mean you're safe dotted around the world are gangs and some people who may or may not be there to help you. In this 19th Century world you'll be doing quests with Arthur Morgan exploring a very intense and immersive storyline in the 1899 American SouthWest with a feeling of freedom that the map offers with impressive environmental changes, just wait until you walk around in the snow! It will make you feel cold and like you're actually there.

Playability: When it comes to the playing the game its exactly what you expect nice simple controls smooth to move around nearly anyone familiar with 'Rockstars' games could pick the controller or keyboard and mouse and start doing the basics to complete early missions. Jumping on a horse is always fun on these Red Dead Redemption games and with no disappointment the movement is fluid and the sound effects that comes with it actually makes you feel like you're there!

With these amazing little details of animation it makes the game have a realistic feel and leaving you wanting to interact with more of the environment and NPC's to see what else you can do, from brushing your horse, having a drink in the saloon or smoking a cigar it feels like the world is your oyster. The other characters moving within the game makes it feel like they have a mind of their own and not just wondering around. It seems as if they're living their day to day life and your just passing by them.

Visual Aesthetics: Looking at the game we are being graced with graphics as its smooth and sharp to look at depending on your system of what you're using a PC or Console you can be playing with HD visual aesthetics. Within the map you can see grass swaying, snow being pressed down by your player or maybe an animal around you that you thought you was tracking is now hunting you!

Travelling around this open world map means changing of weather you could be galloping on your horse with the sun rays beaming down on you! To then being in pouring down rain making it hard to see just don't get to close to the swamp you never know what lies beneath!

Narrative/Story: Rockstar always manage to bring the story to life making you feel like you are! Arthur Morgan for this game with interesting quest to explore and complete you can choose to do main quests or side quest, giving the game a refreshing feel after hours of gameplay doesn't make you feel like you are repeating yourself. With the involvement of Van Der Linde Gang gives us a huge variety of different NPC's we can interact with and leave you wanting to know more about what happens next.

Character Customization: Choosing how you look is a big deal and you have nothing to worry about you can look like 'The Good, The Bad & The Ugly' with multiple options from clothing to hair and choosing what your weapons look like makes this game feel unique to you and makes it feel like you're not playing the same character as everyone else who has bought the game.

When it comes to your hard working horses who become like a friend helping you through these hard times you want to repay them by making them look good or upgrade them, Well you can! Visit your local stable and choose out of three horses you can own at a time. If you want to upgrade you have the options out of changing Saddles, Saddles Bags, Blankets, Bedrolls and many more which leaves you wanting to earn more gold to rewards yourself and your horse.

Time to Play: This game is no joke when it comes down to how long will it take to complete. We are talking hours most players take 90+ hours to finish this huge game but to me all I hear is 90+ hours for the price you paid to play it sounds very worthwhile. You can continue on playing side missions and also Online Play continue with your friends make a posse and bully or befriend other online players!

If you like playing the game like me you end up going online trying to build up a reputation by becoming a 'Bounty Hunter' find them dead or alive the choice is yours. If you feel more like a business man you can venture within the role of a 'MoonShiner' protect your stock or steal others but at the end of the day if you can make a lot of money if you deliver the goods! The role that I like the most is actually the Trader if you like to venture out into the wild to find animals you don't find around town it's your job to try capture these animals without completely ruining the skin to sell, You can also find yourself looking for notorious unknown animals that give you great rewards if captured.
